Pastor Aloysius Ohanebo was born on the 17th of July, 1944 at Uli, Anambra State. He grew up and had his early education in Anambra State before proceeding to university where he earned a degree in quantity surveying.

He resigned from his job as a quantity surveyor after God called him to join in the ministry. A short while, the ministry that has grown into thousands of members worldwide was born.

The Watchman Catholic Charismatic Renewal Movement has been in existence for more than two decades. It was founded in Awo Omamma, Oru East Local Government Area as a very small congregation, but has over the years, grown to many parts of the world.
