Born on the 26th of November, 1982, Michael Collins Ajereh is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, actor and entrepreneur.

Best known as Don Jazzy, he is originally from Isoko in Delta State, Nigeria.

His mother is an Igbo princess from Abia state while his father is from Isoko. Don Jazzy was raised in Umuahia, Abia State, and his family eventually is family moved to Ajegunle, Lagos.
He had his secondary school education at the Federal Government College Lagos and started playing the guitar when he was just 12.

He also gained knowledge of traditional and percussion instruments and enrolled in business management studies at the Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma, Edo State.

Don Jazzy visited London in 2000, and was invited to play the drum in church by his uncle. He gained employment at McDonald's as a security guard, and continued pursuing the music career alongside Solek, Kas, JJC,The 419 Squad and D'Banj.

He eventually started a record label with D'banj, Mo' Hits and then his own, Mavin Records.

The label is home to top artists like Korede Bello, Dr SID, Rema, Di'Ja and Johnny Drille.
