Born on the 8th of September, 1956, Bishop Wale Oke is a Nigerian gospel minister and writer.

He spent the first 11 years of his life in Kasumu, Egbeda local government area of Oyo State, Nigeria and is the current Bishop of the Christ Life Church, worldwide.

Francis moved to Ibadan, and he attended the Wesley Teachers’ College, and then the polytechnic. After that he gained admission to pursue a degree in Land and Engineering Survey from the University of Lagos.

It was while he was still in school that he got connected to other top gospel ministers like Pastor Kumuyi, Pastor E. A. Adeboye, Bishop David Oyedepo and Bishop Benson Idahosa.

Pastor Adeboye was his Mathematics lecturer in 1977.
He founded the Christ Life Church in 1989 and it has grown to over 200 branches all over the country

Bishop Oke is married to Mrs. Victoria Tokunbo Oke and they have a son, Isaac Oke. Their only daughter, Dorcas Oke passed on in the year 2001 after consuming some adulterated medicine.
