The call for the scrapping of the police brutal unit which began in 2017, recently resuscitated due to the killing of a man in Delta State about weeks ago.
While the online version of the campaign began immediately after the incident, demonstrators, earlier in the week, took to the streets nationwide. At the weekend, it went global with Nigerians in diaspora protesting in support.
So far, celebrities like Don Jazzy, Tiwa Savage, Wizkid, Davido, Olamide and many others have joined in the campaign.
