Born on the 9th of June, 1997, Tay Iwar is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, music producer and sound engineer.
He was born in Lagos State, Nigeria and started making music right from when he was fourteen years old.
He worked on creating the Bantu Collective with his elder brother, Suté in the year 2013 and released an EP, Passport.

The EP helped push Tay into further limelight, and in April 2017 he released Renascentia, a free compilation LP.
The title can be loosely translated to mean re-birth from the post-Christ cultural movement in Seleucia. 

Tay has worked with a good number of other top musicians including M.I Abaga, Juls, Lady Donli, Preye, Odunsi (The Engine), Leriq, Tomi Thomas, Boogie, Suté, Santi, Jessica Bongos, Ovid, Sarz and Eve Urrah.

His debut album, Gemini was released March, 2019.
