Born on the 12th of February, 1982, Bobi Wine is a Ugandan politician, entrepreneur, actor and singer.
He is currently serving as a Member of Parliament for Kyadondo County East constituency in Wakiso District, in Uganda's Central Region.
Robert was born in Nkozi Hospital, where his mother worked and grew up in the Kamwookya slum in the northeastern part of Kampala, the capital city of Uganda.

He got his Uganda Certificate of Education in the year 1996 from the Kitante Hill School, and his Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education in 1998 from the Kololo Senior Secondary School.
Bobi Wine studied music, drama, dance and music at the Makerere University in Kampala, graduating with a diploma in 2003.
Returning to school in 2016, Kyagulanyi studied law at the International University of East Africa (IUEA). It was while he was in the school that he got in contact with his then-lecturer David Lewis Lubongoya, who has since become chief executive secretary of the People Power, Our Power movement.

About his entertainment career, Bobi Wine joined the music industry in the 2000s. He came into limelight after songs like Akagoma, Funtula, and Sunda (ft. Ziggy D).
One of his songs, Kiwani was was featured on the soundtrack for the Disney movie Queen of Katwe.
Bobi Wine has also starred in a good number of local Ugandan movies. He was a lead actor in the 2015 movie, Situka and starred in other movies like Yogera and Divizionz.

Kyagulanyi announced his candidacy for parliament in an upcoming by-election for Kyadondo County East constituency in 2015.
He is currently serving as a Member of Parliament for Kyadondo County East constituency in Wakiso District, in Uganda's Central Region.
