Kristin Clotilde Holby was born in Oslo, Norway and grew up in Larchmont. She attended Murray Avenue School and Mamaroneck High School and later took courses in apparel design at Rhode Island School of Design and started working as a fabric designer for a textile company.
She is a successful model and has worked for a good number of couture houses, including Ralph Lauren, Yves St. Laurent, Givenchy and Chanel.
