‘Stop Comparing The Lekki Massacre To The US Capitol Protest, It’s A Disrespect’ - Twitter User

When in October 2020, Nigerians went out to the streets in mass to protest against the Police and SARS brutality, no one knew that not all would make it to the end of the revolution. Yes, there's hardly a revolution where no blood is shed, but at least the lowest a government could have done is protect their masses, who are only asking for a better life.
Not only was that the case, the top media houses in the country ignored the issue, maybe in a bid to escape government sanctions or possible, they just feel like it's not necessary.
Barely four months later, pro-Trump supporters stormed the US Capitol to protest what they call election frauds in the country.
This is coming up after different, stand-alone investigations have proven the president wrong.
A Twitter user, @MrObi_ has taken to his page to explain why the two incidences are not the same, and shouldn't be compared;
How can you compare what's happening in America to the #EndSARS protest?

- One broke into the capitol and disrupted the electoral college count.

- The other sat on the floor with the national flag to demand good governance

Don't disrespect the victims of #LekkiMassacre
Made sense right? What do you think?
