Davido Breaks Another Record, Becomes First African To Hit 19 Million Followers On Instagram

Nigerian-American singer and songwriter, David Adedeji Adeleke, popularly known as Davido is no doubt, one of the biggest in the industry. The singer, who prides himself as the most followed African on Instagram recently broke another record by becoming the first African singer to hit 19 million followers on the photo-sharing app.
This is a great achievement, and he's no doubt, o his way to 20 million followers.
This isn't the first time Davido will be breaking a record. His 2017 song, 'Fall' was was one of the top-100-most-Shazam-searched singles in America in January 2019, and was a top-10 record on Shazam in New York.
The song was also ranked at number 163 on Pitchfork's list of the 200 Best Songs of the 2010s.
Fall was also the first Nigerian music video to surpass 100 million views on YouTube.
