Born in the year 1955, Haig Simonian is a German freelance writer, financial journalist, broadcaster and business events moderator.
He was a correspondent of the Financial Times of Frankfurt and Germany, and stepped down to become a freelance writer in 2012.
After writing a doctoral thesis on the topic of The Privileged Partnership: Franco-German Relations in the European Community 1969-1984 (1985), Dr. Haig went briefly into investment banking before turning to journalism.
