Tragedy Hits Zamfara As Bandits Kidnap 70 Nursing Mothers

In what could be described as a sad Thursday for the families involved and Nigeria at large, bandits have reportedly kidnapped 70 nursing mothers and children. The ugly incidence took place in Ruwan Tofa village in Maru LGA of Zamfara State.
According to SaharaReporters.com, the bandits arrived in motorcycles for the attack on the 3rd of March, 2021, taking not less than 70 people and valuables away.
They also burnt houses of the residents, and destroyed their cars.
“The attack lasted for several hours, the gunmen took at least 70 persons into the forest,”
