First-Class Graduate Appreciates Davido, Others For Donating To Ensure He Studies Abroad

A Twitter user identified as Jide Valentino Sanya has taken to the micro-blogging platform to appreciate Afro-beat superstar, Davido for contributing handsomely towards his education. In the tweet which has so far garnered thousands of likes and retweets, Jide explained how he was forced to return back to Nigeria from Europe because of financial constraints.
In a bid to source funds, his mentor had to set up a GoFundMe account to help him (Jide) actualise his dreams of completing his studies abroad.
The young man was able to raise £12,124 (N5.5m) from GoFundMe following donations from different Nigerians, including Davido who contributed handsomely.
Jide, who has now fulfilled his dreams of studying abroad, bagged a first-class and gave thanks to Davido, his mentor, and Twitter family for their love and support.
