Imo State: See Why Gov Uzodinma Sacked 20 Out Of 28 Commissioners

The Executive Governor of Imo State, Hope Uzodinma has sacked 20 out of the 28 commissioners in his government. The Governor listed those affected to include ministries of Youth and Sports. Heath, Tourism, Information and Strategy, Women Affairs, Works, Finance and Technology.
This development comes on the heels of recent claims by the Governor that some of his appointees were working against his interest.
The Governor also announced the appointments of new commissioners for Health and Finance.
A statement by the Chief Press Secretary Nwachuwu Ogukwe explained that “The reason behind the new development is to infuse new blood and add more value to the governance system of the state.
