‘Okorocha is Hunted By His Past, Don’t Take Him Serious’ - Gov Uzodimma
May 20, 2021The Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodimma and his predecessor, Senator Rochas Okorocha have continued in their exchange of verbal words. Recall that Okorocha had accused Uzodimma of hating him with passion when he on Channels TV programme “Sunday Politics”.
In Okorocha's own words;
“Governor Hope Uzodimma hates me with passion. He just hates me. I don’t know the reason he has been fighting me, but never a day, I fought him and I made it a point of duty that I will never fight back.
But he just shows hatred and envy. I don’t know why or for what reason and he doesn’t seem to be changing. He is not relenting, the former governor reeled out.
But Uzodimma replied to his successor, saying Okorocha is being hunted by his past, describing him as a rabble-rouser.
In a statement by Oguwike Nwachuku, his Chief Press Secretary/Special Adviser, in response to the interview of the former governor of Imo State, Rochas Okorocha’s, he said, “Nigerians should not take him (Okorocha) serious. He is being hunted by his ghost over how he destroyed a state he governed for eight years.
“Imo people may forgive him but they will not forget what he did to them – raping the state in and out and mak¬ing it look like a laughing stock until recently when Governor Hope Uzodimma took up the challenge to clear his mess”, the statement noted.
