Born on the 14th May, 1959, Justice Binta Nyako is a Nigerian female judge.
She is one of the four wives of former Adamawa State governor, Vice Admiral Murtala Nyako (RTD). She first entered the spotlight for her battle for the position of governor’s wife against other wives.
The office was reportedly unoccupied for over a hundred days while the struggles continued.
She was appointed to serve as the new trial judge of the IPOB leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. This however became a source of controversies as the IPOB rejected her.
Talking about her early life, Justice Binta Nyako enrolled at Maryland Covenant School, Ikeja, Lagos, in 1968 and studied until 1970.
She studied at the Army Children School, Dantunku road, Kaduna and moved to the Queens College, Yaba, Lagos.
Binta attended the School of Basic Studies, A.B.U. Zaria in 1977 and enrolled for an LL.B at the Institute of Administration, Amadu Bello University, Zaria.
She went to the Nigerian Law School, Victoria Island, Lagos in 1981.
