Man Whose House Was Destroyed By Rochas’ Administration Appreciates Hope Uzodimma
September 22, 2021A Canada-based Imolite has taken to Governor Hope Uzodimma's comment section to appreciate the governor for 'stepping up for the poor masses'. According to the man identified as Mmike Oobas, his father's house was demolished/empty land taken by Rochas Okorocha Administration without any form of compensation/settlement. He had to pass through the trauma of seeing his parents and neighbours stayed homeless for days under rain and sun.
He made the comment while reacting to a post on Uzodimma's Facebook page announcing that he (the governor) has integrated the Implementation Committee for the recommendations on the White Paper on Lands and Related Matters. The committee, which will be headed by Prof. Ukachukwu Awuzie is charged with the responsibility of recovering all assets belonging to the State and/or any individual listed in the White Paper.
In Mmike Oobas' own words;
''His Excellency, you are indeed a strong man.
My father's house was demolished/empty land taken by Rochas Okorocha Administration without any form of compensation/settlement.
My worst experience in my life seeing 👀 my parents and neighbors stayed homeless for days under rain and sun.
Thank you for stepping up for the poor masses and with this initiative, I will always support your Administration.''
