In a news conference, the monarch described the former CBN governor as a man, who's highly capable of consolidation and consistently prepared for the mantle of leadership which is going to bestowed on him by Anambrarians come Nov.6 2021.

The Monarch further lamented on how he loose; 

"in 2002 from 1 out of 140 nationwide branches of the bank in Onitsha the sum of seven hundred and fifty thousand naira in Savannah bank during the withdrawal of bank licence by the then CBN governor Joseph Oladele Sanusi, with reasons that the bank did not have enough assets to meet liabilities, did not comply with CBN obligations, and that the regulators had been unable to prevent further deterioration. The hope of the customers was waken when the bank's closure was sent to Federal high court in Abuja believing that the hope of a common man will be restored meanwhile, Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation has taken over the bank as liquidator, sealing the bank's offices.The bank's owners fought so much for the closure but all hopes was lost in 20 October 2006, despite an order by Appeal Court to reopen the bank."

"Chukwuma Soludo came in as CBN governor, with the agenda of restructure and consolidation, making Nigeria the African financial hub.

He recommended microfinance banks important to Federal government's economic policies and considered it an alternative way of providing money for the small business enterprise."

I believe if Soludo given the chance to become Anambra State Governor, I think he will bring all his tactics and brilliance he applied during his reign in CBN as a pillar of restructure in today's system of modern banking.
