The company’s chief technology officer, Parag Agrawal will reportedly take over the helm. The company also added that Jack Dorsey will remain a member of the Board until his term expires at the 2022 meeting of stockholders.
Not giving any reasons on why he made the resignation, Dorsey released in a statement;

'I’ve decided to leave Twitter because I believe the company is ready to move on from its founders'

Agrawal will have to meet Twitter’s aggressive internal goals of doubling its annual revenue, as well as hitting 315 million monetizable daily active users.
He has been working with Twitter for over a decade now, and has served as CTO since 2017.
