Born on the 28th of August, 1966, Samuel Ikome Sako is a politician from the internationally unrecognized proto-state of British Southern Cameroons Federal Republic of Ambazonia.

He became president after the abduction from Nigeria and illegal extradition to Cameroon of the former Ambazonian president, Julius Ayuk Tabe.
He was unilaterally dismissed by Julius Ayuk Tabe (while behind bars) in May 2019, a decision that was overwhelmingly rejected by the people of Ambazonia and annulled by the Restoration Council representing the legislature of Ambazonia. The incidence eventually triggered the Ambazonian leadership crisis. 

Samuel was an attendee at a Washington, D.C. March 2019 conference, and over a dozen Ambazonian movements (including federalists) were represented.
The conference led to the creation of the Southern Cameroon Liberation Council and an agreement to unite under a common front.
