Twitter Users React To News Of Atiku Picking Emeka Ihedioha As VP

There have been rumours of the PDP presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar picking former Governor of Imo State, Emeka Ihedioha as his running mate. According to the news which has been reported by Vanguard, Legit.ng, The Sun Nigeria, NaijaNews and other top news sources, the ball might land into the court of the former lawmaker.
This is coming months after the court nullified the election which saw Ihedioha as governor, electing the present Hope Uzodinma.
Is Atiku picking Emeka Ihedioha as running mate? The PDP is yet to release any official statements on that but there are possibilities.
The news however didn't go well with Twitter users who reacted in ways showing it could be a tough political decision to make.
A Twitter user, @CC_okoro reacting to it wrote;
I hear Atiku picked Emeka Ihedioha as vice. Even if you pick my father, I will still vote for Peter Obi.
Another, @Onyemaizuchi wrote;
I supported Emeka Ihedioha in the last governorship elections and will support him in 2023 if he gets to be an option, but you see this 2023 presidential elections, it’s either Peter Obi or Peter Obi.After watching the Arise TV interview, I can’t believe less that PO is the man
Tweeting further, @UgoMbaise who is also from Mbaise wrote;
Emeka Ihedioha's village house is stone throw from mine in Mbaise.There's a rumor Atiku is picking him as running mate.Everybody in my family will still vote for Peter Obi
Advising the former lawmaker, @ivoh_ivoh wrote;
Emeka Ihedioha just made a political mistake. He would have re-contested for Imo gubernatorial election. He has 100% chance of defeating Hope Uzodinma. But no, he wants to be a VP. He will lose both sides. Na Peter Obi we know.
Throwing his support for Peter Obi, Nigerian blogger Igbo Clifford wrote;
Even if Atiku pick me as his running mate, I go still go vote for Peter Obi as far as we are talking 2023! 😂💔Do we love Emeka Ihedioha? Yes.Is it a tough choice? Not really!
The 2023 election is no doubt going to be the easiest one, and the masses are bracing up to vote in their favourite replacement for present President Mohammadu Buhari.
