The song got 1 million views within a spate of 8 hours after release, beating Davido's 'Fem' which got the same number of views in 9 hours. This is a great feat in the history of African music and calls for a celebration.

The song has already garnered 6 million views in four days while 'Fem' is currently at 14 million views, after three months of release. Considering the rate at which ‘Waah’ is amassing views, it might be beating 'Fem' anytime soon, who knows?
